Imported Form goes to a Blank Page and No Submissions Recorded
Imported Form goes to a Blank Page and No Submissions Recorded
Solution
When using logiforms Form Import Wizard, logiforms adds a series of hidden fields ("control fields") to your form to identify your account and the form. These fields are inserted in your form just below the opening <form>
tag. The fields look like this:
<input type="hidden" name="formtype" value="standardform">
<input type="hidden" name="fID" value="8270">
<input type="hidden" name="Hid" value="53394">
<input type="hidden" name="Eid" value="11139">
<input type="hidden" name="Eid2" value="3">
<input type="hidden" name="lfbuild" value="1.1">
<input type="hidden" name="requestmode" value="process">
When you import a form into logiforms, and then later try to make changes to the imported form and re-import it, the control fields still exist and point to your old form. If you were to view the source code of your form, you would see two sets of control fields.
To avoid this problem you must delete the control fields from your form before re-importing it into logiforms. After the import, a new set of control fields will be added to your form.
