 PayPal Integration Overview (Start Here)
Solution
logiforms.com supports two different methods of integration with PayPal. These methods are explained below:

Website Payments Standard
Website Payments Standard is the fastest and easiest way to accept payments through PayPal. All you need is a verified PayPal account. Customers, are redirected to PayPal after completing your form to finalize their payment. Unlike 'Website Payments Pro', there are no monthly fees from PayPal for this integration type.

Your customers, when redirected to PayPal can pay via the PayPal account, or by their credit card. They do not need to have a PayPal account to pay.

After payment is made, the user is redirected to your thank you page where you can use logiforms autoresponder rules to show a success or failure message depending on the result from PayPal.

logiforms is integrated with PayPal’s IPN System (Instant Payment Notification), so your submission data gets updated with the results of the PayPal transaction. This happens "behind the scenes". This tight integration enables us to maintain the transactional data from PayPal with your logiforms database.

Website Payments Pro
Website Payments Pro is a more advanced form of integration that provides several benefits over the Website Payments Standard Integration. There is a monthly fee from PayPal for this service and you need to contact PayPal to sign up to use this option. The benefits of Website Payments Pro are that the user stays on your site and the payment is processed in the background. In addition, you can use the Express Checkout to simplify the checkout process. You can also use your existing merchant account (contact PayPal) to process payments with Website Payments Pro and DirectPay.

Website Payments Pro is actually a combination of two checkout methods, and you must provide both options on your form. These two options are Express Checkout and Direct Pay. With Express Checkout, the user is redirected to PayPal to log in to their account. They are then taken back to your form/order summary page where they can complete the checkout. PayPal returns the customers shipping information so you do not need to ask for it on the form, which results in a faster checkout experience. With DirectPay, the user can enter their credit card details directly on the form, and complete the checkout process in one step, without ever logging in to their PayPal account.
